The Full Day RIB Cruise to Spetses and Hydra is a private 8-hour island-hopping excursion departing from Nafplio port. A fast RIB speedboat takes your group to two of Greece’s most iconic car-free islands — Spetses first, then Hydra — with swim stops and time ashore at each. Snacks, sandwiches, fruit, and drinks are included throughout the day. A licensed skipper accompanies the group. Available May to October.

  1. Depart Nafplio port and head out toward the Saronic Gulf
  2. First stop: Spetses — arrive at the neoclassical harbor, explore the car-free town, visit a café or grab an early lunch ashore
  3. Swim stop between islands — anchor at a quiet cove for swimming and snorkeling
  4. Second stop: Hydra — the island with no cars and no scooters; walk the stone harbor, explore the alleys, take in the views from the hillside
  5. Return crossing to Nafplio

Are we the only group on the boat? Yes. This is a fully private charter — no other guests join your group.

What is there to do on Spetses and Hydra? Both islands are car-free and best explored on foot. Spetses has a lively harbor, neoclassical mansions, and good tavernas a short walk from the dock. Hydra is more rugged and dramatic — stone streets, working donkeys, and a stunning natural harbor with no motor traffic of any kind.

Can we eat lunch ashore? Yes. There is time on each island to find a café or taverna if you’d prefer a sit-down meal. Light snacks, like sandwiches and fruit, as well as drinks are provided on the boat throughout the day.

How long are the crossings? Nafplio to Spetses is approximately 40 minutes by RIB. Spetses to Hydra is roughly 20-30 minutes.

Is it suitable for children? Yes. Life jackets are provided for all ages. The ride is lively at speed — let us know your group’s ages when booking and the skipper will adjust pace to suit your group.

What if the weather is bad? The itinerary may be adjusted based on sea conditions. If the trip cannot proceed, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
